Robert Luis

Mr. Luis is an experienced executive with a long history of working with Native American business units in Alaska and the Lower 48. He has more than 30 years of experience in the construction industry, having owned a successful heavy civil company in the southwest. Mr. Luis Holds an undergraduate degree from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University (Prescott) and his MBA (Finance emphasis) from Keller Graduate School in Pomona. Mr. Luis is a former US Army Captain (RA) and has lived and operated all over the world. His skill, strong work ethic, and knowledge in the field come second only to his ability to successfully lead a team to a precise and cost effective completion. Mr. Luis is also fluent in Italian, and Spanish.

Betsy Pugh

Ms. Betsy Pugh, Chief Financial Officer of Akhiok-Kaguyak, Inc. (AKI), is a results oriented, strategic financial executive with 25 years of senior level experience in the federal government contracting. She is a progressive leader and trusted advisor providing high-level financial decisions and automated solutions in complex SEC, multi-million, commercial and government contracting environments. She has successfully championed more than 40 audits from internal and external regulators; lead high-profile mergers and due diligence ventures for financial integration; and improved profitability and integrated price to win strategies through pricing methods, indirect rate structuring, and budget process enhancements.

Cheryl Eluska

Mrs. Cheryl Anderson, Director of Operation of Akhiok-Kodiak, Inc. (AKI), manages day-to-day operations for AKI. Cheryl’s past experience in office management, shareholder management, and event coordination improves operational efficiency. Her excellent communication, budgeting, project management skills contribute to long term organizational planning.

Cheryl will also assist in the oversight of the building management by following up with the property manager about specific projects, evaluate progress and listen to customers concerns and questions.

Erin Sedor

Erin Sedor has more than 26 years-experience as a risk professional and strategy leader with an exceptional track record of developing and executing strategic initiatives to drive profitability within complex environments. She has had outstanding success during her career accurately identifying and capitalizing on opportunities for increased growth, streamlining, and cost reduction for the organizations she supports. Employing industry markers, operational insight and risk-reward analytics, she provides critical support for key decisions on expansion and contraction efforts across an impressive range of industries. She supports AKI as we continue to forge relationships and build business within cutting edge technology industries with a particular focus on operational risk analysis and mitigation strategy design. Erin holds a MBA in Operational Risk Management and Bachelor degrees in both Organizational Management and Finance.

Drew Buchanan

Mr. Drew Buchanan, Chief Technology Officer of Akhiok-Kaguyak, Inc. (AKI), leads AKI’s vision to provide secure, innovative, and adaptive technical solutions that embrace advances in technology while reducing risk.

Mr. Buchanan has more than 23 years of experience implementing technical and programmatic controls that reduce business risk. In 2013 Mr. Buchanan was given the Secretary of Defense Award for Excellence for his contributions in the field of risk management. He has led security engineering efforts for hundreds of complex mission systems that require zero down-time and the highest possible data confidentiality and integrity standards. Mr. Buchanan has performed over 100 cyber risk assessments and is a thought leader in the field of all-hazards risk management. He is the lead developer of the Disaster Recovery Institute International RMLE 2000 risk management course.

Mr. Buchanan holds a MA in Intelligence Studies – Cyber with Honors distinction from American Military University and holds several cyber security and business continuity certifications. Mr. Buchanan is a member of the Golden Key International Honor Society and has served as a technical mentor for the CyberPatriot National Youth Cyber Education Program.

Jill Thompson

Jill has 23 years of experience in contracts management, pricing development, financial management, and administrative support. She has priced and managed complex, multi-million-dollar contracts, as well as their financial performance. Prior to her work with AKI, Ms. Thompson was the lead corporate financial analyst supporting a $300M+ Alaska Native Corporation.

She shares her knowledge and motivates those she works with, training them to achieve success while providing innovative solutions, and continuous process improvement. Ms. Thompson’s core business strengths include; Contracts Management, Financial Management, Cost Proposal Development, Budget Development, Administrative Support, Indirect Rate Development and Audit Support.

Michael S. Bradshaw

Mr. Michael Bradshaw, President & CEO of Akhiok-Kaguyak, Inc. (AKI), is a Senior Operations and Business Development Executive with 28+ years of corporate management experience. Mr. Bradshaw has been tasked to build a Government Contracting capability for AKI. In 2018, Mr. Bradshaw created, branded and launched the Sugpiat Family of Companies to deliver leading-edge technologies to the Federal marketplace.

Mr. Bradshaw possesses strong leadership skills, strategic vision, and focus with expertise in all aspects of corporate operations. Mr. Bradshaw’s high-performance career began with his service in the United States Marine Corps. After leaving military service in 1988, Mr. Bradshaw began his career as a contractor with notable achievements in Software Engineering, Business Development, Product Development, Simulation & Training, Unmanned Aircraft Systems, Instrumentation, and Hardware/Software Integration.

She has also brought more than $39B in task orders and single award contracts for the companies she has supported.

She mentors and trains organizations and infuses rigor into their BD processes by implementing, repeatable processes and procedures that produce winning results. She enables companies to operate strategically and cost effectively by introducing efficiencies that make sense.
