Cari Cayton, Vice President of Marketing & Communications for AKI and the Sugpiat Family of Companies, is responsible for the strategy and coordination of internal and external communications, as well as global event management. As AKI builds on its reputation as a reliable, customer-focused Government Contracting corporation setting new standards for innovative products and services, Ms. Cayton’s oversight includes marketing, advertising, corporate communications, social and traditional media engagement, and community engagement activities, with an overall focus on propelling AKI’s reputation as a trusted international business and Federal Government contractor.

Prior to joining AKI in 2021, Ms. Cayton spent nearly ten years as a corporate marketing and communications professional in various roles of progressive responsibility for an Alaska Native Village Corporation, their shareholder services, and SBA 8(a) certified subsidiaries.
